2005 Touring the Great White North

 19 Days

 7,500 miles (actual GPS mileage)

15 US States and 5 Canadian Provinces

These are pictures from my 2005 trip to Yukon, Canada.  This started out as a trip to Alaska on my BMW F650 GS.  However, I found myself running out of time so I decided to turn around in Yukon.  This allowed me time for a return trip through Jasper National Park and Moab, UT.  This turned out to be a good decision since Jasper turned out to be the best part of the trip.

GPS track of the entire trip

Moab, UT

An interesting water pump station in the middle of nowhere.

Dirt bike or Jeep is the only way to get to this spot. I was the only one around for miles.

The road out of Spring Canyon Bottom

Palisades Reservoir

Flaming Gorge Reservoir

What much of the last few days has looked like

I really wanted to take this dirt road to nowhere, but the rain was right behind me

Off the paved road finally

Having fun in the dirt... for now...

Insert crash here...

The trip home so far (June 11)
